Earring Anxiety

I want to start wearing earrings again.  Like these:

here.

My ears are pierced three times in each ear.  I am scared to try to put earrings in them since I haven't worn earrings in so long.  I think several of the holes may have already grown back together.

Ignorance is (earringless) bliss?

Flea Market Finds

It's been a while since I've found a good piece of jewelry at a flea market.  This zig-zag ring was purchased on Saturday when Kate and I went to the Tulsa Fairgrounds Flea Market.

Other purchases:
- set of 6 cups (for fancy drinks) with a really old black and gold Tulsa Oilers logo (like, back when Oilers was the baseball team old)
- an old VanCamp's Pork & Beans can for my mom (I got a $3 discount because it's my last name)

It had been a few weeks since I had been out flea marketing.  I missed it!

The Mammoth Collection

I recently ordered a few prints from The Mammoth Collection.  It's a great website to get interesting art for a pretty cheap price.  Same concept as 20x200.

Here are the prints I ordered:

Landscape Painting 1, by Russell Leng

Landscape Painting 2, by Russell Leng

Untitled, by Nicholas Mcelroy

Here are a few more that I liked:

Fence, by Gustav Gustafsson

Fresh Snow IV, by Jakob Wagner

I Love You Forest, by Karina Eibatova

Highway 17, by Jaime Hogge

Willow Beach, by Jaime Hogge

Get yoself some Mammoth Collection!

Winterland

It is SO cold in Tulsa today.  Like, the kind of cold that makes your fingers hurt when you are walking outside.  We got a bit of snow too.  Luckily I have my house to be cozy and warm in, but this house in Norway looks so much warmer and cozier!  It would be nice to be snowed in here.

Blonde Redhead Apartmenthead

Blonde Redhead is one of my favorite bands.

One of the things I like most about them is their photos are always so dreamy and beautiful, and their album covers and show posters are always designed really well.  While I was in LA after Thanksgiving, I picked up a Blonde Redhead print back from their Misery Is A Butterfly era at Amoeba Records, and I can't wait to figure out where I am going to put it.

A few years back, Domino magazine (RIP) did a feature on Kazu and Amedeo's apartment.  I am not normally one for toile wallpaper (sorry mom) but they've done it perfectly!  This place is so so pretty!
